About me, my background
Before founding his own firm, Andrea worked in various HR functions (recruiting, comp&ben, organisational and managerial development) for more than ten years, and he was HR manager and part of the general management of Avaloq Sourcing (formerly, B-Source) for over 15 years. He worked in the micro-mechanics, telecommunications, and banking sectors as well as in the sector of high tech services intended for banks.
His position gave him a chance to work closely with the company’s top management and senior leaders, helping them to achieve excellent results through efficient staff management systems and by inspiring a learning culture, providing them with effective opportunities of individual or team development or by acting personally as a change agent.
He successfully integrated and harmonised the human resources of the companies acquired in the various outsourcing processes, contributing to the creation of a unique company culture, focused on personal value and professional work.
He is now working under part-time arrangements for Avaloq in the “Culture” function.
After the Swiss Matura in Chur, he graduated in Political and Social Sciences at the University of Milan and he also got an executive master in Consulting and Coaching for Change (INSEAD).
Andrea is a member of the International Society for the Psychoanalytic Study of Organisations ( ISPSO).
He is a Lecturer at SUPSI (University of Applied Sciences and Arts of Southern Switzerland), and he is a member of the HR Advisory Board of SWICO (Swiss ICT professional association).
Andrea is an Italian native speaker and he also speaks German, French and English.
He is married to Bettina and his children are Luca, Marco, Giulia, Alyssa, Cecilia, and Tommaso; he lives near Lugano.
He is the secretary of the sports society 7SIRS (Swiss Italian Rugby Seven), his sports passion successfully practised at competitive level. His current hobbies are cycling and mountain sports.
